New Mexico Trophy Elk Hunting
We offer amazing New Mexico wilderness pack-in trophy elk hunts. We hunt mainly in the Pecos Wilderness and the Carson National Forest. These world class elk hunts are packed in over 10 miles into the wilderness on horseback. We then hunt off foot and horseback. You will be staying in spacious wood heated 12 x 14 canvas wall tents and eating some of the best home-cooked meals you will ever taste.
Depending on which elk hunt you choose, we have all the resources and experience to set you up in the best possible situation to shoot the trophy bull elk you've been wanting. Our bow hunts occur during the rut when the bulls will be screaming. We do call in these big guys, and also spot and stalk them. The muzzleloader hunt is during the post rut and with both the rifle elk hunt and muzzleloader elk hunt we call them in and spot and stalk these bad boys as well.
This hunt can be very physically demanding but highly rewarding as there is an excellent opportunity to aim your sights on a world class trophy elk. We do ask a 230 lb weight limit on all persons and a 70 lb pack limit (not counting firearm or bow) because of the horseback pack-in nature of these hunts.
Be sure and check our trophy room for pictures of some of the trophy elk our clients have taken!
